ABU DHABI, 7th September, 2025 (WAM) - The UAE National Olympic team defeated their Hong Kong counterparts 2-0 today at Al Nahyan Stadium, Abu DHabi, as part of the second round of Group 9 of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers, raising their score to 6 points.

The two goals were scored by Junior Ndiaye in the 58th minute, and Ali Al Maamari in the 81st minute.

The UAE will next face Iran in the third and final round of the group on September 9.
