DUBAI, 1st May, 2025 (WAM) -- The Sudanese community in the United Arab Emirates is set to organise the inaugural "Sudan Gate" festival at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City.
The event, scheduled for the day after tomorrow, will serve as a vibrant celebration of Sudanese culture and arts. It will offer an engaging platform for members of the Sudanese community and festival visitors to experience a diverse array of artistic, cultural, and entertainment performances. The festival's distinctive ambiance will highlight the unique character, authenticity, and rich tapestry of Sudanese heritage, folklore, arts, and society in all its diverse forms.
The festival anticipates the participation of approximately 10,000 individuals from the Sudanese community across the UAE, alongside families and individuals from other resident and visiting communities. The event is also expected to draw prominent Sudanese figures residing in the UAE, including business leaders, artists, intellectuals, athletes, and other distinguished personalities.
This significant gathering underscores the values of tolerance and coexistence that are integral to the diverse social fabric of the UAE. Furthermore, the festival will provide a valuable opportunity to showcase the richness and variety of Sudanese culture, arts, and folklore, while offering attendees a programme of impressive entertainment.
