DUBAI, 28th April, 2025 (WAM) -- The Dubai Police stand attracted a diverse audience on the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 opening day at the Dubai World Trade Centre, including ambassadors, consular representatives, and aviation professionals from various government and private organisations.
Major General Ali Atiq bin Lahej, Assistant Commandant for Ports Affairs at Dubai Police, reviewed the stand, emphasising the force's commitment to actively participating in major local, regional, and global events like the Arabian Travel Market. "This reinforces the force's dedication to enhancing Dubai's position as a safe and leading tourist destination worldwide," he continued.
Brigadier Harb Al Shamsi, Acting Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, indicated that the participation in the exhibition reflects the Dubai Police commitment to engage in the key international events across various sectors. "The tourism and travel sector played a vital role in the economy that is experiencing significant global growth," he added.
Meanwhile, Brigadier Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, confirmed that Dubai Police is demonstrating seven key services at the police stand, which are designed to support the police strategic goal of 'Safe City'.
Dubai Police's stand highlighted the efforts of the Hatta Brave Squad, which was established to enhance rapid response to emergency incidents. The stand also featured the Can-Am quad patrol utilised by the Hatta Police Station. This vehicle is an essential asset for the brave squad, equipped with advanced technology and specialised tools for security operations in rugged mountainous areas and valleys.
The stand gives visitors an overview of the smart Lost and Found System, which connects government, semi-government, and private entities across the emirate.
