KUWAIT CITY, 4th May, 2025 (WAM) -- The 20th session of the Arab Media Forum is set to take place in Kuwait from 10th to 12th May 2025, under the patronage of Kuwait's Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdallah Al Ahmad Al Sabah. This year's forum will be held under the theme:
"Media Challenges in the Era of Technological Advancement and Digital Transformation''.
Madi Abdullah Al Khamis, Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, announced in a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today that the United Arab Emirates will be the Guest of Honour at this year's forum. A large media delegation from both the public and private sectors in the UAE will participate in recognition of the country's growing stature and its dynamic media landscape that keeps pace with global developments.
Al Khamis added that this year's forum will spotlight the role of Arab media in navigating rapid digital transformations, exploring both the challenges and opportunities posed by these changes.
Discussions will focus on how to harness modern technologies to enhance the global visibility of Arab media, while also emphasising the media's role in promoting cultural diversity and preserving Arab identity.
The forum also aims to provide comprehensive insights into the future of Arab media amid the digital revolution and to encourage innovative thinking in addressing contemporary challenges, ultimately strengthening the media's role both locally and globally.
