New Delhi [India], September 17 (ANI): Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar on Sunday said that the recently concluded G20 Summit under India's Presidency reflected Prime Minister Narendra Modi's global influence.
"G20 Summit under India's Presidency reflected Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strength at the global level, whether it is the message of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' or the inclusion of the African Union in the group," RSS leader Indresh Kumar said.
The RSS leader said that a consensus was reached on the New Delhi Declaration as PM Modi prepared a roadmap for it and followed it.
Indresh Kumar, the chief patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch, an organisation backed by RSS, was addressing an event in the national capital.
He said that never before under any government had the country achieved such progress, and that India shattering ceilings under PM Modi's tenure.
"Also, India has emerged as a powerful country and PM Modi is an influential leader across the world," he added.
On the occasion of PM Modi's birthday, Indresh Kumar recalled their early days with him and said that both of them had spent 30 days together in the practice class of the Sangh in the year 1975.
"After this, Narendra Modi got the responsibility of Gujarat region and I got from Kashmir to Delhi," he added.
Recalling the struggle for independence as well as the horrors of partition, he said that if partition had not happened, there would not have been 12 lakh deaths.
He further said that not only India but also all the people of Pakistan and Bangladesh have the same DNA. He added that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was ours, is ours and will remain ours. (ANI)
